Objective: To learn fundamentals and techniques such as the sight-reading of scores, fingering principles,

proper posture and embouchure when playing the saxophone.

After which be able to play any genres of songs on the saxophone.

Background: A saxophone is a single reed, woodwind instrument first developed in the mid-1800s by Adolphe Sax. It is composed of a mouthpiece, conical metal tube, and finger keys. Saxophones can be played in different genres of music from classical music to pop to smooth jazz.
